It was a beautiful day for a training hike up to Camp Muir. Alan, Jacob and I made the 4.5 mile jaunt with 5000 feet elevation gain in 3 hours. Back to the cars in 2 hours. It was a bit windy above 9000', so we ate lunch in the climbers shelter. As usual on a sunny weekend, there were hoards of people, but most of them had a later start and we passed them on the way down.
