Our long awaited climb of Rainer via the Kautz was not meant to be as a storm system moved in right at the same time as our scheduled climb. We opted for something more to the east in search of better weather, and settled on Mt. Stuart. Our plan was to combine Mt. Stuart with a scramble up Ingalls Peak. The weather, still not cooperating, held us to Mt. Stuart alone. 3 nights of campfires were still nice, although we didn't bring near enough adult beverages.

Next day - too socked in and raining to do Stuart, so we did a side trip to Ingalls Lake

Once above the couloir, visibility was minimal. We were not sure which way to head up, but once we found some old tracks, we knew we were on the right path.
